Meet Our Leadership Team
- “Winners are not those who never fail, but those who never quit!”
- “Character is more important than talent.”

Master Aaron Um
Founder & Grandmaster Instructor
Master Aaron Um is the founder of Golden Eagle Taekwondo and has dedicated nearly five decades to martial arts training, teaching, and leadership. Born in South Korea and raised in Spain, Master Um began Taekwondo at the age of seven. His journey later brought him to the United States, where he continued competing, teaching, and building martial arts schools devoted to excellence and personal growth. Although his background includes national and international competition success, Master Um believes medals are not the true purpose of Taekwondo. His mission is to use martial arts to develop the whole person—body, mind, and character. Through Golden Eagle Taekwondo, he teaches students to live with discipline, confidence, respect, honesty, humility, courage, and perseverance. His goal is not simply to develop strong martial artists, but to help children, teens, and adults become strong people who can overcome challenges and lead meaningful lives. Master Um believes true leadership is not about status or recognition. It is about serving others, lifting people up, and helping every student recognize their God-given potential.
