Master Aaron Um
Founder & Master Instructor
Master Aaron Um is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo (World Taekwondo Federation, Kukkiwon), holds the Master Instructor level, and is recognized by the International Federation. He started Taekwondo at the age of 7 in Korea and continued in Spain as a teenager, training with Chungdokwan Master Kim to pursue his dream of becoming a professional Taekwondo master. He began teaching Taekwondo at 18 in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, and competed across Spain and the United States — earning gold medals at the Campeonato de Madrid, the Campeonato de España de Exhibición, Copa Ibérica, the Senior National Championship, and the U.S. Open Taekwondo Championship. In 2006, he opened Golden Dragon Taekwondo Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma — the biggest Taekwondo school in the state. In 2008, Master Um and his family moved to Texas, where life-altering experiences led him to become a born-again Christian and find his true purpose in life. Continuing his passion for Taekwondo, he opened Golden Eagle Taekwondo in Katy, dedicating himself to providing the best mental and physical training possible. He speaks fluent English, Korean, and Spanish, and is married with three children.

Master Instructor
25 years of experience and a 6-year member of the Mexico Taekwondo National Team. A General Medicine doctor who joined Golden Eagle Taekwondo out of a passion for the sport — dedicated to supporting and creating future champions.
